The Somerset County Sanitary District Inc. is accepting applications for a General Manager. Applicants must have the following minimum requirements: A Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering Professional Engineer Certification in Maryland Valid Class C Driver’s License This position has complete oversight of the Somerset County Sanitary District, which includes supervision of all District personnel, and resources. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in civil engineering. The ideal candidate will have 20 years municipal experience as well as being familiar with the County of Somerset and its water, and sewer infrastructure. Knowledge of acquiring grant funding from State, Federal, and private sources is imperitive. The Position is a Grade E-9 with a starting salary of $100,427 with a potential for negotiation based on candidate experience.
